Shadows and light

Experimenting with shadows, and light, trying to create pctures where they stand alone in importance and where they share equal significance. Photography is my main source as it captures both of these. I started looking at it from a small scale by photographing fabrics.

The the light and shadows show the folds and create interesting designs and shapes. I looked at silk, wool, and velvet. I then started skecthing only the shadows.
